Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer is often called a "silent disease" because its symptoms are vague and easily mistaken for common digestive or hormonal issues. The disease begins in the ovaries — the almond-shaped organs on either side of the uterus that produce eggs and female hormones — and frequently spreads before being detected.

At Anand Cancer Hospital in Surat, our gynaecological oncology team led by Dr. Jayesh R. Shah provides comprehensive ovarian cancer care including diagnostic imaging, tumour marker testing, surgical staging, debulking surgery, and coordination with medical oncology for chemotherapy. With over 35 years of experience treating gynaecological cancers, we deliver care based on NCCN protocols.
