Passed M.B.B.S in October 1980 with 2 gold medals & a president’s medal for standing first at South Gujarat University amongst lady students. Joined residency in obstetrics & gynecology at Govt. Medical College Surat and Obtained a Master's Degree in 1984.

After completing M.D DGO joined seventh day Adventist Hospital Athwalines Surat as chief Obstetrician & Gynecologist from 1985 to 1989.

Started private practice from 1989 onwards till today at Anand Hospital Nanpura having almost completed 30 yrs of private practice.

She is having keen interest in Endoscopic surgery & high risk obstetrics. She has been part of Laparoscopic   surgery workshop organized at Anand Hospital. She has delivered lectures regarding public awareness programs on various subjects, she has conducted free gynecological checkup & pap smear camps for various communities.
